      Position Overview:

      The Floor Supervisor will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the coffee shop floor. They will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing staff, and maintaining high standards of customer service. The ideal candidate will have a passion for coffee, excellent leadership skills, and a strong commitment to delivering an exceptional guest experience.


      Key Responsibilities:


      - Supervise Daily Operations: Oversee the day-to-day activities on the coffee shop floor, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and according to company standards.

      - Staff Management: Lead and motivate a team of baristas and support staff, providing guidance, training, and support as needed. Delegate tasks effectively and ensure that staff adhere to company policies and procedures.

      - Customer Service: Set a positive example for staff in delivering exceptional customer service at all times. Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional and timely manner, striving to resolve any issues to the customer's satisfaction.

      - Quality Control: Maintain high standards of quality for all products served, including coffee, pastries, and other menu items. Conduct regular inspections of the coffee shop floor to ensure cleanliness, organization, and compliance with health and safety regulations.

      - Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels of coffee beans, supplies, and equipment, and place orders as needed to ensure adequate stock levels. Handle receiving and stocking of deliveries, and oversee proper storage and rotation of inventory.

      - Cash Handling: Supervise cash handling procedures, including opening and closing tills, counting cash drawers, and reconciling transactions. Ensure accuracy in cash handling and compliance with company policies.

      - Training and Development: Provide ongoing training and development opportunities for staff to enhance their skills and knowledge. Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, collaboration, and personal growth.




      - Previous experience in a supervisory or management role in the food and beverage industry, preferably in a coffee shop or similar environment.
      - Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
      - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused mindset.
      - Passion for coffee and a good understanding of coffee brewing techniques and equipment.
      - Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
      - Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
      - Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
