Key Responsibilities
Service Management
- Oversee floor operations during service, ensuring smooth workflow and timely execution.
- Monitor table turns, seating flow, and overall guest satisfaction.
- Enforce service standards, sequence of service, and restaurant policies.
- Handle guest concerns professionally, resolving issues before escalation.
Team Leadership
- Lead, motivate, and support the FOH team (waiters, runners, hostesses).
- Conduct pre-shift briefings and communicate daily priorities.
- Provide on-the-job training and coaching to elevate service performance.
- Ensure grooming, hygiene, and conduct standards are maintained.
Operational Control
- Supervise opening and closing procedures.
- Coordinate with the kitchen and bar to ensure efficient service.
- Monitor cleanliness of dining areas, stations, and service equipment.
- Support stock control of service items (cutlery, glassware, menus, POS tools).
- Assist in managing reservations and guest flow.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Floor Supervisor or Head Waiter in an upper-casual or premium dining concept (UAE experience preferred).
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Deep knowledge of service standards, guest experience flow, and restaurant operations.
- Ability to multitask and lead a team during busy services.
- Professional appearance and polished interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail.
- Flexibility with shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
