      Position Overview:

      Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food and Beverage Senior Cost Controller to join their team. In this key role, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the cost control processes across multiple brands and outlets. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial analysis, budgeting, and inventory management within the food and beverage industry.

       

       

      Key Responsibilities:

       

       

      Cost Analysis and Reporting:

      - Conduct regular analysis of food and beverage costs, identifying trends, variations, and areas for improvement.
      - Prepare detailed reports and present findings to senior management, offering strategic insights to drive cost-effective decisions.


      Budgeting and Forecasting:

      - Collaborate with various departments to develop accurate and realistic budgets for food and beverage operations.
      - Monitor and adjust forecasts based on actual performance, ensuring alignment with overall financial goals.


      Inventory Management:

      - Implement and maintain effective inventory control procedures to minimize waste, spoilage, and stockouts.
      - Work closely with procurement teams to optimize purchasing strategies and negotiate favorable terms with suppliers.


      Process Optimization:

      - Continuously evaluate and enhance cost control processes to maximize efficiency and accuracy.
      - Implement best practices to streamline workflows and reduce operational expenses.


      Compliance and Audit:

      - Ensure compliance with internal policies and industry regulations related to cost control and financial management.
      - Collaborate with internal and external auditors to facilitate smooth audits and address any discrepancies.


      Cross-functional Collaboration:

      - Collaborate with culinary, operations, and procurement teams to align cost control initiatives with business objectives.
      - Provide financial insights and recommendations to support menu engineering and pricing strategies.


      Qualifications:

      Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CMA, CPA) is a plus.
      Proven experience in a similar role within the food and beverage industry, preferably in a multi-brand or multi-outlet environment.
      Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable recommendations.
      Excellent understanding of inventory management, cost accounting principles, and budgeting processes.
      Proficiency in using financial software and advanced MS Excel skills.
      Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
