Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and guide them through the dining experience.
- Present menus, explain items, and provide recommendations confidently.
- Take orders accurately and efficiently and enter them into the POS system.
- Serve food and beverages according to service standards.
- Maintain an attentive presence on the floor, ensuring guests’ needs are met promptly.
- Ensure tables are properly set, cleaned, and reset for the next guest.
- Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service flow.
- Handle guest complaints professionally and escalate when necessary.
- Follow all hygiene, safety, and service protocols.
- Support opening and closing duties of the restaurant.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Waiter in an upper-casual or premium dining restaurant (Dubai experience preferred).
- Strong communication, presentation, and customer-service skills.
- Knowledge of food, beverages, and upselling techniques.
- Professional appearance and positive, welcoming attitude.
- Ability to multitask and work well under pressure.
- Basic POS system knowledge.
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
